Electrical design involves creating systems that manage the flow of electricity safely and efficiently. Protection devices like circuit breakers ensure safety by preventing electrical faults.
Circuit Design
In series circuits, the same current flows through all components, voltage is divided, and total resistance is the sum, while in parallel circuits, the voltage is the same across components, the total current is the sum of individual currents, and the total resistance is lower, with components continuing to function if one fails.
Design Software and Tools
In electrical design, software tools like AutoCAD and Revit are crucial for creating accurate electrical system designs. AutoCAD offers precision in drafting electrical plans, while Revit is essential for Building Information Modeling (BIM), enabling seamless integration of electrical systems into larger architectural and structural designs.
